When I select an email, then click the 'Add Case' button, I get the following error.

Maildrop error

When attempting to sync:

Unable to login to Salesforce
API_DISABLED_FOR_ORG: API is not enabled for this Organization or Partner

We have the Enterprise edition of Saleforce. What gives?
When adding email to salesforce and choosing Opportunity there is no dialog for associating the name to a contact. For example, I select 'Add Email to Salesforce.com' from the Script menu; click the 'Related to What?' tab; enter an opportunity name in the search field; select the opportunity; click 'Add Email'.

This adds the email to the Opportunity I selected in the above process and opens the salesforce.com page in my web browser. The 'Name' field, however, is blank because the process doesn't prompt me to associate this email with a 'Contact'. I have to manually edit the post to add the contact's name. This isn't a big deal but it would be wonderful if this could all be done within MailDrop.

I just downloaded Maildrop. I look forward to using it with Mail.app! I noticed in the screenshot on the Maildrop site (http://www.pocketsoap.com/osx/maildrop/) a few additional scripts under the two Salesforce.com items -- Create Event, Create Note, Create Task. Are these specific to Entourage or are these related to Salesforce.com? It would be great to have these three items as Maildrop salesforce options.

Weird, I've never seen it do that. Are you running OSX 10.4.8? Are you
using any additional syncing tools (SpanningSync, the sync in
entourage etc?).

Finally, this might be better over on the MacForce list

Apparently the latest Microsoft Outlook 2003 security patch released on the 8th January 2007 may affect the send and add functionality with Outlook Edition 2.

The link to the Microsoft Outlook 2003 security patch can be found here:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/924085

You can get more information, including work arounds from Salesforce.com by searching for solution 6135.

I'm curious to hear if other users have been experiencing problems after installing this security patch?
