POSITION DESCRIPTION

 

The Commercial Analyst will provide Sales and Marketing and other constituencies within the organization with fact-based analysis and information to evaluate historical sales and marketing data for the purpose of helping drive future sales performance.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  •  Prepares sales forecasts and collects and analyzes data to evaluate current sales goals and increase sales productivity
  • Develop analytical tools to evaluate case volumes, sales trends, and other metrics in a variety of formats including numerical reports, narrative analysis, graphs, charts and presentation formats.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
  • Leverages the Company’s proprietary database software and external business intelligence software in the utilization and training for business and act as a consultant to business (managers and sales reps) by helping them interpret and understand the information available
  • Researches and evaluates current economic conditions that may affect the organization's ability to sell its products or services in the marketplace
  • Assist with the analysis of marketing studies
  • Works with Product Marketing Managers to set product line and market-specific forecasts
  • Administer, develop and train the companies CRM solution

 

POSITION REQUIRMENTS

  •  Bachelors of Science Degree, in Finance, Marketing with minimum 3 years work experience in business or healthcare
  •  Working knowledge of saleforce.com operating platform
  • Must be fluent in MS Excel, SQL Server, MS Access

 

DESIRED

  • Strong skills in manipulation and analysis
  • Strong Communication skills • Strong documentation and training skills
  • Ability to be creative to produce reports with complete and coherent analysis included
  • Excellent attention to detail in their reporting and analysis
