Position Description:

  • Work closely with
         Customers and Employees to utilize the full capabilities of Salesforce.com
  • Apex/trigger development
  • Visualforce/s-control
         development
  • Create and maintain
         complex work flows, data validation and triggers
  • Evaluate App Exchange
         tools for feasibility and business impact
  • Provide problem root cause
         analysis to resolve complex system issues
  • Write and maintain
         technical approach and design documentation
  • Importing/Exporting data

Knowledge/Experience
requirements:

  • 2 or more years experience
         with object oriented programming such as Java or .Net
  • 1 or more years experience
         with developing on force.com platform
  • Experience with
         Salesforce.com web services/API
  • Experience with object
         oriented programming using SOQL, Apex, JavaScript, and HTML

 

Preferred:

  • Experience packaging new
         and pre-developed apps for sale on the AppExchange

 

Skills:

 

  • Ability to code, test and
         debug programs
  • Ability to analyze problems
         and develop solutions
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects
  • Results driven, team
         player
  • Fluent in English both

Flexibility for installs outside of normal business hours

 

Education Requirements:

Bachelors Degree or 3+ years administering salesforce

 

Position Description:

  • Administer Customer’s salesforce instance including system configuration, user support, data integrity, and on-going maintenance.
  • Manage Salesforce security including roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups.
  • Provide best practices and recommendations for integration, application development, and deployment.
  • Work with teams to develop training materials and administer training to users.
  • Gather business requirements for new implementations and projects.
  • Implement new enhancements such as creating custom objects, workflows, validation rules, etc
  • Maintain, develop and deploy reports and dashboards
  • Ensure latest capabilities of the platform are utilized and develop strategies to take advantage of the latest features.

 

 

Work/Promotion experience requirements:

  • Represents and makes decisions based on Appletree’s core values
  • Bachelors Degree or 3+ years experience with salesforce.com
  • Experience configuring and developing Salesforce.com applications.  This includes work flows, security access, creating custom objects, page layouts, fields, data validation and utilities, and creating custom reports and dashboards.
  • Experience with data migration, cleansing, and clean up
  • Demonstrated ability to translate Customer requirements into specifications
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact will all level of internal and external customers
  • Proven ability to effectively manage time

Preferred:

    • Any of the following certifications:
  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Admin
  • Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
  • Previous consulting experience
  • Experience using DemandTools
  • Experience setting up integration between Salesforce and other external systems
