I have restricted a user from accessing Contacts (they only need access to a particular Object) but those contacts still show up if you search for them. How can I restrict full access to the Contacts for a user?

I have a custom field I would like to add to the Send an Email take page layout.  Is this possible?  Or, is it possible to change the auto activity that is generated after an email is sent?  Thank you!

Does anyone use the force.com Birthday eMailer?  I would like to:

-send the birthday emails from our company email account, not my personal account
-have the auto Activity it creates reflect the date (the date field is currently blank)
