Hi All,

As per Salesforce notification new IP ranges for email will be activated on March 15,2016. In regards to this, we need below details-
Referred knowledge article- https://help.salesforce.com/HTViewSolution?elq_mid=9223&elq_cid=10067740&id=000003652
 
1. For na4 instance, which all IP ranges should be whitelisted for email?
   -Should all IPs listed under Email Security Filters and Email Relaying section(of above knowledge article) be whitelisted?
   -or there a specific list of ranges to be whitelisted for na4 instance?
2. If we try the "Testing Email Deliverability" option now, will it include new IP ranges that will be activated on March 15?
   i.e Will this test ensure that all emails will be received, once the new IP ranges are activated on March 15,2016

Hi All,

I have faced some weird behavior as the above formula works for an instance but it doesn't work for the other(i.e. UAT and Production) because the reference code generated by the Salesforce under email section is different in both instances.

The reference code generated by Salesforce is different for each instance ? If yes, how we can make the formula i.e generic for all the org's.

For example :-
QA reference code :- [ ref:_00D18m8X._50014QYZT:ref ]
UAT reference code :- [ ref:_00D18m8X._50014lQYZT:ref ]

I have a requirement to create the analytic snapshots for the custom object that has Master-Detail relationship with Account.
Can this be possible in Salesforce and also how can we schedule the Analytic Snapshot from apex?

I wanted to create "Unresolved Items"(Tasks or Emails) from Email Service apex class if the cc email is not associated with any contact record.

 

Is this be possible? or there will be some other workaround for achieving this with the email services?
