Hi,

 

We upload leads for different departments: Sales or Marketing

 

I need to indicate which leads are more relevant to the respective department.

 

- I created a multiple picklist in Campaigns:  Sales or Marketing

 

- I want to pull the values in each campaign when a sales rep looks at the Leads object.

 

- I'll create a specific list view for the  Sales or Marketing Departments.

I'm having trouble with pulling the values from Campaign Object to the Lead Object.

 

This is what I've done so far:

 

Lead Validation Rule

 Campaign.Department__c 

 

What's the formula to pull the data from Campaigns?

Hi,

 

One of my users requested that he sees the Account City in his Opportunities list view.

 

I need to first create this field in Opportunities then the data needs to propagate.

Hi,

 

Is there any way to control user access to Leads, Accounts or Contacts? Since we have a fair amount of sales rep turnover, we don't want to risk our information being taken to a competitor.

Hi,

 

We have Professional and won't upgrade to Enterprise for a while.

 

My ultimate goal is to configure Partner Portal for our distributors since we also sell dierct.

 

I wanted to know if this makes sense:

 

If I create Portals, could I migrate the information that I created to Partner Portal? I want to see if it's worth it to spend a lot time on Portals when I knw it's a temporary solution.

Hi, I want to:

 

- Create an event 

- Share it with the company (for all to view in the 1-icon or 31-icon)

 

I've shared my Calendar with Entire Organization.

 

I don't like that I need to create a list of the entire company, and they need to scroll down / click through pages to find me. This is crazy.

Is there better way to get this done?

Hi, In my Home tab, I see all my tasks the default columns are:

 

Complete - Date - Subject - Name - Related To

 

I would like to customize the columns and looked in

 

Setup - Customize - Activities:

 

 

Task Fields

 

Task Validation Rules

 

Task Buttons and Links

 

Task Page Layout

 

 

 

 I couldn't find how to do this.

We need to tell our remote salesreps to update their browsers. Is there a report that we can run that identifies the users' browser + version?

 

This would be similar to google analytics reporting.

Does anyone know how to Auto-Collapse a Section in the Page Layout?

 

My customers don't want to see so many Sections when they first open the page.

 

Close the windows for Product lines, Treatment Capabilities and INternational on default. Open button if needed.
