My company serves clients internationally and we would like to recognize both US and UK holidays to better facilitate client services. We are a call center that deals mainly with cases and bill against the time we spend on each particular case. We need to figure out a way to "soft code" holidays for both the US and UK. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions for me. For now the 2 options I have come up with are to:

1. Use standard US and UK(primary intl. hub) holidays
2. Customize the calendars via hard coding

I would like to have the functionality to customize each calendar per client - hundreds of clients. This way I can tailor each specific account and better serve them. I would like to stay away from hard coding the standard US and UK holiday calendars because of variable holidays, such as thanksgiving that is not set to a specific date.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to create a custom link on the Account page which, when clicked, will open up a google map and use the addresses, mailing and shipping, to get directions to one another. I realize that there is URL manipulation involved but when I try to replace the address with fields the background map showing topography grays out because of required coordinates in the URL.

Has anybody dealt with this / have any ideas.

Does anyone have a cheap/free solution to export notes/data from ACT and import it into appropriate fields into SFDC. This is obviously going to require some massaging but does anyone have any ideas on strategies or techniques?

I have a situation between 2 system admins in a single org. This company consists of 2 divisions with 2 system admins- one for each division. These 2 divisions operate independently from one another but do share some page layouts and fields. When one admin changes values, fields, page layouts a conflict arises because sometimes he edits/changes the other admin's division. Is there any way to limit/ create a new profile to restrict a system admins permissions to only edit specific record types/ fields/ layouts?

This issue has not only decreased admin. efficiency but has also brought conflict to the enterprise. Does anyone have any ideas?

I am new to SFDC an need a little help.

When an opportunity changes stages there's an option to automatically send out an approval e-mail using a pre-made template for  managerial purposes. My question is, is it possible to add the products, to the e-mail for approval, that are attached to that opportunity? This is necessary to do in order for managers to completely understand what products are associated with which opportunities. This automated process would relieve users from manually creating a mail-merge and uploading it to an e-mail, and so on so forth. Is this possible using apex, workflows, etc?
