How to use .js java libraries to display world clock in VF/SFDC?

Audio notification in SFDC

Dear friends,

I have a requirement, Description is as follows:

1.End user (support guy) will be logged in SFDC.

2.He will be assigned a case by his manager in SFDC.

3. whenever a case has been assigned to support guy, he will get notified by some kind of Beep sound(for 1-2 sec).

Please let me know if point no. 3 can be implemented in SFDC or not. Any suggetions are highly appriciated. -Thanks

can we display a Dashboard into a VF page

Hi,

My requirement is " I want to save a dashboard in PDF/PPT(power point) format. Pirioty as ppt format"

My approach is : I am developing a VF page where I will display the dashboard & then using renderAs attribute I will be able to save it as .pdf file as I am not having any idea on saving it as a .ppt file.

1. Is there any way that I can save dashboard as .ppt file?

2.Is there any way that if I cant save the dashboard as .ppt then I can save it as .pdf somehow?

If any one has any idea/suggesion then please share with me.

can we sort the attachments on accout record

HI,

Do you have any idea if we can sort the records (attachment) for any (account) record.

1. Is developing a new Visual Force page the only option?

2. If we develope a new Visual Force page then is there any way to sort the records without writing apex code for sorting?

System exception : Too many script statements

hi friends,

1)I am writing Apex classes for parsing the content of the csv file . But at the time of execution I am getting this error

System Exception : Too many Script Statements

As csv contains more than 254 fields and around 200 rows . I think I am getting this Exception . So can u pls help on this .

2)Even this exception is not caught by try ang catch block . Is there any way to catch this exception if it generates while execution . pls suggest any solutions if you have.

How to assign Today date and time in a custom field by Scontrol

Hi,

I want to assign current date and time to Cutom field of a custom object using Scontrol .

Issue is user-org time zone may be differnt from the machine from where he is accessing his org.

So if I will use Java script date() and getDate and getYear method , I will get time and date for that machine .

so how can I get date and time which is pesent in his org

as format for date time datatype is "2008-05-21T20:03:00.000Z" how can I convert todays date and time in this format as it also includes some 000Z .what is mean by this here ......
