I like maildrop a lot - thank you. But I file a lot of email and need to find a way to flag email as already "dropped" to SFDC.

Is it possible to write an Applescript that would "maildrop" a selected message, and then move the message from my Inbox to a storage folder? Once I have dropped a message to SFDC, I store them all in a folder in Apple Mail.

Without a script, the original message stays in the Inbox and it is impossible to identify it as having been dropped.

I have never used AppleScript, but if you think this level of automation is possible, I will start hacking away! thanks for your work and any insights on this issue.

I do not want all of my Mac Address Book names put up in to my SFDC addresses... I only want the contacts and accounts in SFDC to be copied down (and maintained in) my Address Book.

Is there a way to configure SF3 or some other tool so that I can keep my SFDC data apart from my personal data? It seems crazy to have my dentist listed in my SFDC records!

Thanks -

I like adding messages to my SFDC environment from Mail - it works great. However, after adding the mail to SFDC, it remains in my InBox with no way of knowing I have added it to SFDC.

Is it possible to add an ability for MailDrop to move an added message to a particular folder in Mail? This would make all of the steps required to add and save a message available in a single interface. The other possibility is changing a flag on a message so they could easily be sorted - but some way of knowing a message has been added to SFDC would be nice.

Thanks for this application!

has anyone given thought to combining sf3 and MailDrop in to one app? they are both really handy and it would be nice to have one addition to the Entourage UI for adding SFDC capabilities.

my two cents... (but i would pay a little for this single app!)

In a past life as a Windows user, I was using the Salesforce Office plug-in.  It had a feature where when creating a new email I could hit "send message and add to salesforce" and the message would be delivered and added to SF at the same time.

Has there been any interest in adding this feature to maildrop?  Are there any challenges in doing so that I'm not aware of?

Have a blessed day,
Joe
