Hi

I see related lists(open activities and notes/attachments) on page layout section for contacts object.

I also see them in enterprise wsdl as fields(query result) under Contacts. 

I do not see these relations on fields list (setup->customize->contact->fields) however. 

I have noticed this behaviour(relations missing on fields page) for other objects also.

How can I see any existing relations for any object as fields?

I added VF page(with standard controller extension) on user page layout. It works fine on detail page. When I edit the user, this VF page does not render it's output. How can  I  use VF on edit page then?

Is it possible to add/update/delete picklist values from apex? I was only able to retrieve, but don't know how update.

I have custom controller, which I like to use instead of standard controller page for user object. How can I  configure my controller to be used for user objects?

I have an email service(with apex email listener) running on salesforce instance #2. I want to set up a workflow with email alert action on another salesforce instance #1. 

Is it possible to use salesforce email address(from instance 2) on email alert on instance 1? 

Is there any governace limit on number of emails that can be sent (per day or user or workflow)  from workflow?
